This information session for prospective families is the first step to enrolling in the Suzuki School of Newton. We are currently enrolling for all programs: Suzuki Prep, Early Beginners, and our Core program with concentration in violin, viola, cello, piano, flute, guitar, and harp.

Newton Harvest Fair - October 20, 2019, 1:00-1:30pm

Harvest FairLocation: Newton Centre Green (Langley Road & Centre Street)

Violin and viola students from the Suzuki School of Newton will perform a 30-minute set on the Showcase Stage at the 2019 Newton Harvest Fair. Come for the music, and stay for crafts, food trucks, pumpkin decorating, rides, and more!

Spooky Suzuki - October 26, 2019, 5:00pm

Spooky Suzuki

Location: United Parish of Auburndale church, Parish Hall (64 Hancock Street, Auburndale)

Wear your Halloween costume to this fun and entertaining concert! $10 per performer. Refreshments after the concert.

Student Solo Recitals - November 9, 2019, 3:00pm & 4:30pm

Solo recitalLocation: United Parish of Auburndale church, Parish Hall (64 Hancock Street, Auburndale)


Violin, viola, cello, piano, flute, guitar, and harp students from the Suzuki School of Newton will present their polished pieces in two solo recitals: one beginning at 3:00pm, and a second beginning at 4:30pm.

The recitals are free and open to the public.

 


Faculty Recital - November 17, 2019, 4:00pm

Faculty members from the Suzuki School of Newton present an afternoon of chamber music from the Baroque era to the present day. All ticket proceeds benefit the James Thornblade Memorial Scholarship Fund.
