Harvest Fair performance 2009

An annual tradition of the Suzuki School students, Newton’s Harvest Fair was held two weeks earlier to catch better weather. A beautiful day, violin students performed many selections in front of a delighted crowd.

Celebrating New Community Playground

September 28th, 2009

On June 27th, members of the community joined SSN Associate Director, Marlene Lerer and Newton Parks and Rec supervisor, Stephanie Pelkowsky, in installing a new playground structure behind the Newton Cultural Center. Many thanks to our volunteers, and community donors including the Village Bank, Suzuki School of Newton, WarmLine/MSPP, Hotel Indigo, True Value Hardware, and many generous individuals. Ongoing efforts continue to help Newton Cultural Center’s goal of $19,000 to pay for the playground improvement, with nearly $15,000 already raised. Additional donations are being accepted: Newton Community Playground, c/o Suzuki School of Newton, 225 Nevada Street, Newtonville MA 02460.

Fall 09 Registration

April 24th, 2009

Fall 09 registration packets should be arriving in the mail today or tomorrow! Please keep an eye out for them. The registration period will open Monday May 4th for returning students. This is your first chance to consolidate your schedule. Please look over your student’s schedule and return the invoice to the office with payment when registering.
