Suzuki School of Newton’s annual Playathon unites students and faculty for 6-hours of continuous music from 12 PM to 6 PM at The Shops at Chestnut Hill, MA. This event is held to celebrate students’ commitment to 7 days of intense practicing. Students gather sponsors to support them on their practice challenge and work hard to prepare for the concert—in the end, they donate their music and sponsors’ gifts towards the James Thornblade Memorial Scholarship Fund.
