Debra Perry, the preschool director. Deb has a degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Education from Worcester State University. She has been an educator and a caregiver at schools and institutions throughout Massachusetts. Debra has been the Whole Note teacher and director of Suzuki Preschool Adventures summer program since 2011 and became the Suzuki Preschool Director in the fall 2016.
Francis Morgan, the lead teacher in the Quarter Note (three-year old) classroom. Francis graduated from Northern Arizona University with her masters in Early Childhood Education. She has worked with children from ages 18 months to 8 years of age for over 16 years. Francis has a very sweet disposition that the children respond to. She integrates many life skills into her classroom curriculum.
Bonne Boodman, the lead teacher in the Half Note (four-year-old) classroom. Bonne has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Education from Cambridge College. She has over 20 years of teaching experience in a preschool setting. She incorporates her passion of the arts in her daily curriculum. Some of her art projects have been published in popular preschool publications.
Rolene Karp, the lead teacher in the Whole Note (pre-k) classroom. Rolene graduated from Wheelock College with a major in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Child Psychology. She has been teaching for over 30 years. She has been a preschool teacher, camp director and a teaching director for 13 years. Rolene brings a warmth and compassion into her classroom that the children emulate.
Alison Dressler, the teacher in the Quarter Note classroom. Alison graduated with a degree in illustration from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She has worked as the Art Studio and Enrichment Coordinator at Bright Horizons in Hopkinton as well as being a preschool teacher. Alison is an enthusiastic teacher that brings fun and excitement into her classroom.
Denise Drago, the teacher in the Half Note classroom. Denise obtained her M.F.A in theater from the New School University. She has been teaching preschool for over 10 years. She brings her passion for singing and acting into the classroom to inspire fun creative ways to learn.
Jackie Kurtz, the teacher in the Whole Note classroom. Jackie holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from Fisher college. She has worked in a preschool setting for over 30 years. She has worked with her co-teacher (Rolene) for 10 of those years. She brings her love of art into the classroom to help build a curriculum full of fun and color.
Ana Lisa Mallari, the lead teacher in the afternoon program. Dana has her bachelors in Human Services from Lesley University. She has been working in a preschool setting for many years. Ana Lisa is an energetic eager teacher that enjoys teaching the children art and literature and she incorporates that into her daily afternoon curriculum.
Walter Perry, the teacher in the afternoon program. Walter studied business and education at Worcester State College. He worked with children ages 6-12 at the Cambridge YMCA, NAEDP and Abbey-Kelly Foster Charter School. Walter went on to work in manufacturing pharmaceuticals at Genzyme for 13 years before returning back to the field of education. Walter brings a high level of energy and fun that keeps the children engaged and smiling in the afternoon.
