Music Classes for Children
Suzuki School of Newton offers a number of instrumental and pre-instrumental music classes for newborns through high school students.

The Core Program
The majority of our students are enrolled in the Core Program, which utilized four components: a weekly individual lesson, a weekly group class, a weekly musicianship class, and regular performances in our solo recital series. This program is primarily for students age 5 and up, and students are expected to be in this program for up to six years before reaching the advanced program.
Early Beginners
Children aged 3.5-5 may benefit from our Early Beginners program, a once-a-week group class that serves as an introduction to their chosen instrument and as preparation for entering the Core program.
Suzuki Prep
Children aged 0-4 are encouraged to join Suzuki Prep, a pre-instrumental class that meets once a week and builds musical skills through songs and movement.
